Alberta Laboratory Of Human and Aerosol (ALOHA)

ALOHA, abbreviated from Alberta Laboratory of Human and Aerosol, was established on Jan 15, 2024. The naming of the lab was inspired by Dr. Zhonghua Zheng, an assistant professor (lecturer in UK academic system) at The University of Manchester.  With missions of improving the public awareness of the health effects of air pollutants, our lab are always keen on developing pertinent health indicators, implementing new measurement techniques for assessing health impacts in an easier and bulk-analysis-friendly manner, connecting the chemical composition and sources with the health effect of atmospheric pollutants, and discovering the interesting nature of those existences in exerting adverse health outcomes.

Prospective of ALOHA team (planned by Dr. Haoran Yu).
